Porto Ferpinta are now one step away from the semifinals after beating Vitoria SC. The hosts were ahead by 12 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 25-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. FC Porto Ferpinta outrebounded Vitoria SC 48-27 including a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Gregory Stempin (203-79, college: Toledo, agency: Duran International) had a double-double by scoring 31 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Carlos Andrade (197-78, college: Queens, NC) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest.
