Important game to mention about took place in Netanya. Eighth ranked B.C. Habikaa (10-14) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 9th ranked Elitzur Netanya (9-15) 79-78 on Thursday evening. Elitzur Netanya cut a 15-point halftime deficit to one at the end of the game. They outrebounded Elitzur Netanya 40-23 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Elitzur Netanya was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for guard Frank Robinson (193-84, college: CS Fullerton) who saved his team from a defeat with 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Swingman Dion Dowell (200-85, college: Houston) contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four B.C. Habikaa players scored in double figures. Guard Adrian Banks (191-86, college: NW Mississippi CC) answered with 33 points (!!!) and Brian Asbury (200-86, college: Miami, FL) added 18 points in the effort for Elitzur Netanya. The victory was the third consecutive win for B.C. Habikaa. They moved-up to seventh place. Loser Elitzur Netanya keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost.
