Pieno Zvaigzdes recorded home win over Rudupis and forced the decisive third game in the series. The hosts were already 15 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 25-18 Rudupis' run in the last quarter cut the lead to 80-72 at the end of the game. Pieno Zvaigzdes dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Rudupis' 24. Rudupis was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Eimantas Bendzius (203-90) notched 20 points to lead the effort and American-Puerto Rican point guard TreVon Hughes (183-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: Edge Sports) supported him with 15 points. Four Pieno Zvaigzdes players scored in double figures. Even 17 points by swingman Adas Juskevicius (194-89) did not help to save the game for Rudupis. Forward Povilas Butkevicius (203-87) added 10 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
