Not a big story in a game when 5th ranked Sendai 89ers (25-25) were defeated on the road by second ranked Yokohama BC (29-21) 76-59 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-59. The game was dominated by American players.
