Regular Season Round 33: Granada - Breogan 63-80

Everything went according to plan when eighth ranked Leche Rio Breogan (18-15) beat on the road 17th ranked CB Granada (7-26) 80-63 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Leche Rio Breogan. CB Granada was better in fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dominican-American guard James Feldeine (193-88, college: Quinnipiac) stepped up and scored 29 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and American power forward Brooks Sales (208-80, college: Villanova) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Leche Rio Breogan players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international center Jesus Fernandez (204-75) with 24 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Jose Manuel Coego (204-78) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Leche Rio Breogan maintains eighth place with 18-15 record, which they share with Knet Clavijo. Loser CB Granada keeps the seventeenth position with 26 games lost. Leche Rio Breogan will face league's second-placed Ford Burgos at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CB Granada will play against Clinicas Rincon (#18) in Malaga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
