Very predictable result when seventh ranked Marghera (14-12) defeated on the road 14th ranked Borgotaro (5-21) 68-56 on Saturday. Borgotaro was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Borgotaro 37-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. Bulgarian forward Anna Rimpova (183-82) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Erika Striulli (171-90) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Marghera's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Federica Scanzani (168-86) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all five shots) and forward Silvia Martini (178-87) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Marghera moved-up to sixth place in North, which they share with Udine. Borgotaro lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with 21 games lost.
