Very expected game when 10th ranked Energy Invest (3-17) was smashed by fourth ranked MIA (12-8) in Tbilisi 109-66 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by MIA. Energy Invest was better in third quarter 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Energy Invest to just 6 points in second quarter. MIA dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Energy Invest's 30. MIA forced 21 Energy Invest turnovers and outrebounded them 43-20 including a 33-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Energy Invest's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Larry Blair (183-84, college: Liberty, agency: Pro One Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals. The other American import guard Justin Tubbs (190-87, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: SDJ Sports) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four MIA players scored in double figures. MIA's coach Giorgos Ketselidis felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Revaz Chachanidze (183-90) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds and guard Luka Khmelidze (195-92) added 19 points in the effort for Energy Invest. MIA maintains fourth position with 12-8 record. Energy Invest at the other side keeps the tenth place with 17 games lost.
