Regular Season Round 30: Valencia - Gescrap BB 66-63

The most exciting game of round 30 in the ACB took place in Valencia. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Gescrap BB (17-13) to fifth ranked Valencia Basket (18-12) 66-63 in the game for the fourth place. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Gescrap BB. The best player for the winners was American forward Niklas Caner-Medley (203-83, college: Maryland, agency: Beo Basket) who scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. French guard Nando De Colo (202-87) chipped in 6 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American center D'or Fischer (211-81, college: W.Virginia) who recorded 11 points and Belgian forward Axel Hervelle (205-83) added 4 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Gescrap BB's coach Fotis Katsikaris tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Valencia Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Gescrap BB at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Cajasol and Lagun Aro GBC. Valencia Basket are looking forward to face Cajasol (#6) in Sevilla in the next round. Gescrap BB will play at home against CAI Zaragoza and is hoping to win this game.
