Quarter-Finals Round 3: Ferro-ZNTU - Khimik 95-79

Ferro-ZNTU had little problems en route to the third straight win over Khimik. The game without a history. Ferro-ZNTU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Randy Culpepper (182-89, college: UTEP) who scored 40 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Darrel Mitchell (181-84, college: LSU, agency: Beo Basket) who recorded 17 points and 8 assists and power forward Aaron McGhee (203-79, college: Oklahoma) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Four Khimik players scored in double figures. Khimik's coach Darko Russo rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
