Very important is a home loss of second ranked Osaka Evessa (33-17) against fourth ranked Kyoto Hannar. (33-17) on Sunday night. Host Osaka Evessa was defeated by Kyoto Hannar. in Osaka 79-64. Kyoto Hannar. players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese center Babacar Camara (211-81, college: CS Fullerton) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and American Lee Cummard (201-85, college: BYU, agency: Priority Sports) who added 8 points and 7 assists during the contest. American forward Michael Bell (206-82, college: Florida Atlantic) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Haitian-American swingman Bobby St.Preux (196-80, college: N.Kentucky, agency: KMG Sports Management) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kyoto Hannar. moved-up to second place, which they share with Osaka Evessa and Shiga L-Stars. Kyoto Hannar. will play against Fukuoka Rizing (#5) on the road in the next round. Osaka Evessa will play against Shiga L-Stars and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
