Rather expected game when 10th ranked Saitama Broncos (15-35) were smashed on the road by eighth ranked Oita Heat Devils (21-29) 103-76 on Sunday. The game without a history. Oita Heat Devils led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Saitama Broncos' 40. Oita Heat Devils looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American guard Wendell White (198-84, college: UNLV) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import forward T.J. Cummings (205-81, college: UCLA, agency: Top Notch Sports) contributed with 25 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Oita Heat Devils players scored in double figures. Oita Heat Devils' coach Yukinori Suzuki felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Jayme Miller (203-85) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Daiki Terashita (190-80) added 20 points in the effort for Saitama Broncos. Oita Heat Devils maintains eighth position with 21-29 record. Loser Saitama Broncos keep the tenth place with 35 games lost.
