CAB Madeira completed the semifinal picture. They nipped GDESSA in the third decisive game of the series to advance into the next round of competition. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 14-11. But GDESSA won second period 23-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CAB Madeira made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 GDESSA turnovers. The best player for the winners was international swingman Maria Correia (174-91) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Jheri Booker (183, college: Tennessee St.) chipped in 24 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Angie Ned (175-85, college: Cal-Irvine, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who recorded 24 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import power forward Elisa Beagle (183-87, college: Texas A&M-CC) added 16 points and 17 rebounds respectively.
