Quarter-Finals Round 3: Dnipro - BC Donetsk 78-82

BC Donetsk managed to eke out a difficult road win over Dnipro to step closer to the semifinals. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Dnipro won fourth quarter 18-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC Donetsk made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. BC Donetsk outrebounded Dnipro 34-23 including 22 on the defensive glass. Dnipro was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was international center Viacheslav Kravtsov (211-87, agency: Beo Basket) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Serbian forward Ivan Radenovic (208-84, college: Arizona) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four BC Donetsk players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Charles Thomas (203-86, college: Arkansas) who recorded 23 points and 4 assists and the other American import point guard Derrick Low (188-86, college: Washington St.) added 14 points and 8 assists respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
