Very expected game when 11th ranked Angelico Biella (12-17) lost to sixth ranked Banco di Sard. (18-11) in Sassari 97-104. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Angelico Biella won third quarter 29-25. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Banco di Sard. players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Angelico Biella's players. American point guard Travis Diener (184-82, college: Marquette) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 assists for the winners.
