It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Leuven Bears. Leuven Bears were ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 26-18 charge of Belgacom Liege, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Geoffrey Hockins (188-88) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Terrence Jennings (205-88, college: Louisville) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Nigerian guard Adeola Dagunduro (196-86, college: Nebraska) answered with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Samoan-American power forward John Tofi (203-84, college: UTEP) added 15 points in the effort for Leuven Bears. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Belgacom Liege maintains eighth place with 9-18 record. Leuven Bears at the other side keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. Belgacom Liege will play against league's second-placed Antwerp Giants on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Leuven Bears will play against Optima Gent and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
