Semi-Finals Game 3: Kirchheim - Duesseldorf 76-72

The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 32-18. But Gloria Giants won second period 19-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Kirchheim Knights won last quarter 18-15. They made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Devin Uskoski (198-85, college: Rocky Mountain) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Ahmad Smith (194-84, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Kirchheim Knights players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Liberian forward Patrick Flomo (203-80, college: Ohio) who recorded 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American guard Aubrey Reese (183-78, college: Murray St., agency: Interperformances) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively. Gloria Giants' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
