CAB Madeira recovered from a slow start to knock down AD Vagos in overtime. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime then AD Vagos managed to tie the game at the end of regular time. However that was CAB Madeira who were better in overtime eventually winning that period 20-11. International swingman Maria Correia (174-91) fired 29 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Carla Freitas (170-80) chipped in 6 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. International Joana Lopes (185-86) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds and Brazilian center Flavia Santos (187-82) added 11 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side.
