Budivelnyk made it into the semifinals following a tough win in the fifth game of the series against BC Odessa. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Budivelnyk made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin-Bosnian swingman Suad Sehovic (197-87) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds.
