Bottom-ranked Clinicas Rincon managed to get the second consecutive victory on Friday night. This time they won against seventeenth-ranked CB Granada in Malaga 71-60. CB Granada was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Point guard Jose Pozas (181-92) scored 16 points to lead the charge for the winners and Bosnian center Ognen Kuzmin (215-90) chipped in 3 points and 16 rebounds during the contest. Clinicas Rincon's coach Manuel Povea used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side power forward Jose Manuel Coego (204-78) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and the former international center Jesus Fernandez (204-75) scored 20 points. Clinicas Rincon (7-27) moved-up to seventeenth place, which they share with Granada. CB Granada lost third consecutive game.
