Regular Season Round 33: CFBB - Souffel 44-76

Very predictable result in Paris where third ranked Souffelweyersheim (24-8) smashed bottom-ranked CFBB (2-31) 76-44. The game without a history. Souffelweyersheim led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding CFBB to just 6 points in third quarter and to 14 points in second half. It was a great shooting night for Souffelweyersheim especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. It was a good game for forward Jason Bach (198-87) who led his team to a victory with 12 points and 5 assists. Naturalized Chadian forward Jacques Alingue (201-88) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Mouhammadou Jaiteh (201-94) answered with 5 points and 9 rebounds and guard Boris Dallo (193-94) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for CFBB. CFBB's coach Jacques Commeres gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Souffelweyersheim maintains third place with 24-8 record having just three points less than leader St Quentin. CFBB lost their third game in a row. They stay dead last with 31 lost games. Souffelweyersheim's next round opponent will be Stade Clermont (#15) at home which should be another easy win for them. CFBB will play against Le Puy ASMB in Le Puy en Velay and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
