Regular Season Round 57: Toyama Grouses - Okinawa GK 64-85

BJ League top team - Okinawa GK (38-13) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Toyama Grouses (25-26) 85-64. The game without a history. Okinawa GK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Okinawa GK had a 36-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. It was a good game for center Dillion Sneed (203-84, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Top Notch Sports) who led his team to a victory with 22 points. Forward David Palmer (201-82, college: S.Utah) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Okinawa GK's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Devin Searcy (208-89, college: Dayton, agency: Pro One Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds and swingman Brian Harper (206-85, college: Paine, agency: Pro One Sports) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Toyama Grouses. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Okinawa GK. They maintain first place with 38-13 record. Toyama Grouses at the other side keep the fifth position with 26 games lost. Okinawa GK will have a break next round. Toyama Grouses will play again at home against the league's leader Okinawa GK (#1).
