No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Niigata Albirex (28-24) smashed on the road 10th ranked Saitama Broncos (16-36) 95-54 on Sunday. The game without a history. Niigata Albirex led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Niigata Albirex looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Saitama Broncos' players. American forward Erron Maxey (198-78, college: Providence) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Forward Kimitake Sato (186-84) chipped in 19 points. Four Niigata Albirex players scored in double figures. American swingman John Humphrey (188-80, college: Middle Tenn.St., agency: Court Side) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Jayme Miller (203-85) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Niigata Albirex moved-up to third place, which they share with Akita NH and Shimane SM. Loser Saitama Broncos keep the tenth position with 36 games lost.
