Regular Season Round 32: Angelico BI - Cantu 76-77

Fourteenth-ranked Angelico Biella (12-18) gave a tough game to second ranked Bennet Cantu (20-10) on Sunday. The visitors from Cantu managed to secure only one-point victory 77-76. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-76. Bennet Cantu looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Angelico Biella's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Doron Perkins (188-83, college: Santa Clara) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 assists and naturalized Uruguayan point guard Nicolas Mazzarino (181-75, agency: Players Group) who added 14 points and 4 assists during the contest. American point guard Jacob Pullen (182-89, college: Kansas St.) responded with 19 points and Spanish center Albert Miralles (208-82, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Bennet Cantu and four Angelico Biella players scored in double figures. Angelico Biella's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bennet Cantu maintains second position with 20-10 record having just three points less than leader Montepaschi, which they share with Armani Mit. Angelico Biella at the other side dropped to the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Otto Caserta and Fabi Shoes. Bennet Cantu is looking forward to face Fabi Shoes Montegranaro (#13) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Angelico Biella will play against Otto Caserta and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
