Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (10-18) lost on the road to sixth ranked Mineros de Cananea (14-14) 107-99 on Wednesday. Caballeros de Culiacan trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 31-23 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 99-107 at the end of the game. Mineros de Cananea made 28-of-36 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Mineros de Cananea outrebounded Caballeros de Culiacan 35-22 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds.
