Fourth-ranked Residence (13-15) made lots of trouble for first ranked T71 (24-4) in Bereldange on Saturday. The visitors from Dudelange managed to secure only three-point victory 70-67. However their fans expected easier game. Residence trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 22-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 67-70 at the end of the game. International guard Tom Schumacher (190-87, college: Cal.Baptist) fired 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Frank Muller (194-88, college: Cuesta JC) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Marcus Kennedy (193-84, college: Montevallo, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and international swingman Pitt Koster (178-89) added 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. T71 have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 24-4 record. Residence at the other side keeps the fourth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Amicale.
