Sparta led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Sparta forced 19 Etzella turnovers. Etzella's coach Gilles Becker gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Sparta maintains second position with 22-6 record having just two points less than leader Basket Esch. Loser Etzella keeps the sixth place with 16 games lost.
