A very interesting game took place in Cremona. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 11th ranked Benetton Treviso (13-19) to twelfth ranked Vanoli-Braga (14-18) 84-82 in the fight for the tenth place. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Benetton Treviso won third quarter 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Vanoli-Braga dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Benetton Treviso's 32 and made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Benetton Treviso 35-21 including 27 on the defensive glass. Slovenian forward Marko Milic (201-77) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American guard Jason Rich (191-86) chipped in 18 points. American guard Jobey Thomas (194-80, college: Charlotte) produced 19 points and his fellow American import forward Marcus Goree (201-77, college: W.Virginia) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vanoli-Braga moved-up to tenth place. Benetton Treviso at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 19 games lost.
