The game in was also quite interesting. Leader Hebei (3-0) played at the court of 7th ranked Henan Jiyuan (1-2). Hebei managed to secure a 8-point victory 97-89 on Tuesday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 97-89. It was a great evening for American forward Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M, agency: N.E.T.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford) with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 22 rebounds and point guard Bin Hu (188-82) scored 12 points. Henan Jiyuan's coach Jianguo Wen tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Hebei have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Guangzhou L. Loser Henan Jiyuan dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Hebei will meet at home Heilongjiang (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Henan Jiyuan will play against Changan Group (#8).
