Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Okapi Aalstar (17-14) beat at home 7th ranked Optima Gent (12-20) 75-70 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 40-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Okapi Aalstar outrebounded Optima Gent 44-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Stefon Jackson (196-85, college: UTEP) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds.
