Regular Season Round 4: Changan Group - Henan Jiyuan 96-69

The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Henan Jiyuan (1-3) played at the court of eighth ranked Changan Group (2-2). Changan Group smashed Henan Jiyuan 96-69. The game was mostly controlled by Changan Group. Henan Jiyuan was better in third quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Changan Group forced 22 Henan Jiyuan turnovers. The winners were led by American forward Joseph Taylor (203-85, college: Wyoming) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and center JunQi Jiang (202-90) supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) by Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford) did not help to save the game for Henan Jiyuan. Forward Chao Lu (200-90) added 15 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Changan Group moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hong Kong and Guangzhou FM. Henan Jiyuan at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Changan Group's next round opponent will be Sichuan (#7). Henan Jiyuan will play against Heilongjiang and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
