Semi-Finals Game 2: Pi Koleji - TED Kolejliler 54-81
Date: May 16, 2012
The game was mostly controlled by Optimum TED. Genc Telekom was better in second period 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Optimum TED players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Nigerian-Canadian swingman Olumuyiwa Famutimi (198-84, college: Arkansas) notched 17 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and center Hakan Yapar (202-84) supported him with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Even 14 points and 9 rebounds by Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84, agency: TSS Management) did not help to save the game for Genc Telekom. Forward Hazer Avci (206-87, agency: Court Side) added 11 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
