Finals Game 1: BC Donetsk - Azovmash 83-66

BC Donetsk kept their opponents at bay throughout the major part of the game and sealed the winning outcome in the title series opener. The game without a history. BC Donetsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BC Donetsk had a 29-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of FYR Macedonian guard Vojdan Stojanovski (193-87) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian point guard Vule Avdalovic (189-81, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Five BC Donetsk players scored in double figures. Liberian-American forward Othello Hunter (203-86, college: Ohio St.) answered with 13 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Artur Drozdov (199-80) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Azovmash. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
