Alges toppled Fisica for the opening win in the title series. The game was mostly controlled by Alges. Fisica managed to win second period 24-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Antonio Pires (185-86) fired 20 points and 8 assists for the winners. The former international swingman Joao Manuel (192-79) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds.
