Benfica eked out a narrow home win over Porto Ferpinta to take 2-1 lead in the title series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But FC Porto Ferpinta won third quarter 15-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 30 personal fouls committed by FC Porto Ferpinta helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for the former international forward Heshimu Evans (198-75, college: Kentucky) who saved his team from a defeat with 16 points and 8 rebounds. American-Croatian guard Marcus Norris (185-74, college: Ball St., agency: SportsTalent) contributed with 15 points for the winners. The former international forward Carlos Andrade (197-78, college: Queens, NC) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and forward Joao Soares (195-90) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for FC Porto Ferpinta. FC Porto Ferpinta's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
