Regular Season Round 6: Changan Group - Nanjin Army 81-64

Very expected game when 10th ranked Nanjin Army (1-5) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Changan Group (4-2) 81-64. Changan Group forced 29 Nanjin Army turnovers. Nanjin Army was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Joseph Taylor (203-85, college: Wyoming) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points, 19 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals to lead the effort and center JunQi Jiang (202-90) supported him with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Changan Group players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 5 rebounds by forward Shengyue Sun (198-89) did not help to save the game for Nanjin Army. point guard BoWen Zhang (188-92) added 9 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Changan Group have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangzhou L. Nanjin Army at the other side stay at the bottom position with five games lost. They share it with Henan Jiyuan. Changan Group will play against league's second-placed Jiangsu in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nanjin Army will play against Sichuan (#7) to get more than just one victory in their record.
