Regular Season Round 7: Henan Jiyuan - Hong Kong 73-86

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Hong Kong (4-3) defeated on the road 9th ranked Henan Jiyuan (1-6) 86-73 on Tuesday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Hong Kong forced 20 Henan Jiyuan turnovers. It was a great evening for forward MingHao Li (200-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. American center DeVon Hardin (211-86) helped adding 11 points and 15 rebounds. At the losing side Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford) responded with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and ZhanYu Wang (196-86) scored 13 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hong Kong moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Guangzhou FM. Henan Jiyuan lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Nanjin Army. Hong Kong will meet at home league's leader Guangzhou L. in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Henan Jiyuan will play against Nanjin Army (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
