Everything went according to plan when third ranked Guangzhou L. (7-2) outscored at home bottom-ranked Henan Jiyuan (1-8) 105-85 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Guangzhou L. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Henan Jiyuan's 40. Guangzhou L. forced 26 Henan Jiyuan turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Henan Jiyuan was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward DaWei Chen (203-85) stepped up and scored 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and Senegalese center Hamady N'Diaye (213-87, college: Rutgers) chipped in 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Guangzhou L. players scored in double figures. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Jiangsu. Henan Jiyuan lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with eight games lost.
