Regular Season Round 11: Nanjin Army - Hebei 95-89

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Hebei (7-4) against ninth ranked Nanjin Army (4-7) on Tuesday night. Visiting Hebei was defeated by Nanjin Army in a tough game on the road 89-95. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hebei. Hebei was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 30-18 charge of Nanjin Army, which allowed them to win the game. Hebei was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Shengyue Sun (198-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Center ShouWei Wang (208-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Nanjin Army's coach Yuenan Ma used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M, agency: N.E.T.) answered with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and guard ZhiTong Yin (195-86) added 22 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in the effort for Hebei. Nanjin Army moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Hebei at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Changan Group and Guangzhou FM. Nanjin Army will play against Heilongjiang (#8) in the next round. Hebei will play against Henan Jiyuan (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
