An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in . First ranked Guangzhou L. faced second-ranked Changan Group. Guests from (9-2) defeated host Changan Group (7-4) 81-72. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-72. American forward Joseph Taylor (203-85, college: Wyoming) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks and forward Jian Sun (190-88) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Changan Group's coach MingZhu Pu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Guangzhou L. have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-2 record. Loser Changan Group dropped to the third position with four games lost. They share it with Hebei and Guangzhou FM. Guangzhou L. will meet Sichuan (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Changan Group will play against Guangzhou FM (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
