Regular Season Round 15: Hebei - Guangzhou L. 100-85

Top ranked Guangzhou L. (12-3) recorded its third loss on the court of fourth ranked Hebei on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Hebei 100-85. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Guangzhou L.. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 100-85. The best player for the winners was American forward Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M, agency: N.E.T.) who had a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds. Guard ZhiTong Yin (195-86) chipped in 15 points and 6 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Senegalese center Hamady N'Diaye (213-87, college: Rutgers) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks and forward DaWei Chen (203-85) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hebei (10-5) moved-up to second place, which they share with Guangzhou FM. Guangzhou L. at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Hebei is looking forward to face league's second-placed Guangzhou FM in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Guangzhou L. will play against Heilongjiang and is hoping to win this game.
