Regular Season Round 17: Nanjin Army - Sichuan 82-83
Date: June 26, 2012
We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Nanjin Army (6-11) was edged at home by ninth ranked Sichuan (6-11) 83-82 on Tuesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Nanjin Army won third quarter 26-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely Nanjin Army outrebounded Sichuan 46-31 including a 22-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward David Palmer (201-82, college: S.Utah, agency: Top Notch Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds.
