Very predictable result when top-ranked Toros (2-0) rolled over bottom-ranked Lechugueros (0-2) in Nuevo Laredo 89-49 on Thursday. The game without a history. Toros led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Lechugueros' 26. Toros looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American-Nigerian forward Ike Ofoegbu (205-85, college: SMU, agency: Paris Global Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points. The former international forward Jesus Lopez (205-83, college: SW Baptist) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Toros' coach Jose Martinez felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
