LNBP top team - Halcones UV Xalapa (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they beat eighth ranked Soles (1-3) 102-86. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 102-86. Halcones UV Xalapa made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game, while Soles only scored eight points from the stripe. Soles were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard LeRoy Hickerson (196-82, college: Cumberlands) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Venezuelan point guard Gregory Vargas (180-86) who added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) during the contest.
