Very significant was Fuerza Regia's (#6) 82-71 road victory against 5th ranked Barreteros. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Barreteros. The game without a history. Fuerza Regia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Fuerza Regia had a 30-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Fuerza Regia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. Fuerza Regia's coach Dan Tacheny allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 16 points and 4 steals by Michael Batte did not help to save the game for Barreteros. American guard Jason Horton (188-86, college: Missouri) added 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fuerza Regia have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams.
