Very significant was Fuerza Regia's (#6) 82-71 road victory against 5th ranked Barreteros. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Barreteros. The game without a history. Fuerza Regia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Fuerza Regia had a 30-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Fuerza Regia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. The winners were led by American center Lance Allred (211-81, college: Weber St., agency: SportsTalent) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Terrence Shannon (203-79, college: Elgin CC, agency: Paris Global Sports) supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Fuerza Regia's coach Dan Tacheny allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 16 points and 4 steals by Michael Batte did not help to save the game for Barreteros. American guard Jason Horton (188-86, college: Missouri) added 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fuerza Regia have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams.
