Regular Season Round 2: Ammerud - BC Asker 57-53

Everything could happen in Oslo at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Ammerud and bottom-ranked BC Asker had identical 0-1 record. This time Ammerud used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Rykkinn 57-53. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 17-12 run, which allowed them to win the game. The former international guard Anna Hammer (180-89) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. International center Tina Nesse (183-84) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Ammerud's coach Morten Sanden allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Ammerud (1-1) left bottom position moving up to third place, which they share with Ullern. BC Asker at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Oslo Tigers. Ammerud's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Oslo to the arena Oslo Tigers.
