Montepaschi Siena smashed Enel Brindisi at home 92-65. The game was mostly controlled by Montepaschi Siena. Enel Brindisi managed to win second period 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Montepaschi Siena dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Enel Brindisi's 26. At the losing side American point guard Jonathan Gibson (182-87, college: N.Mexico St., agency: Three Eye Sports) responded with 17 points and the other American import point guard Scottie Reynolds (188-87, college: Villanova) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
