An interesting game took place in Sopot where Polpharma (0-1) was upset on the court of Trefl Sopot (1-0) 87-65. The game without a history. Trefl Sopot led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 62.5 percent from the field and made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Polpharma helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Frank Turner (178-88, college: Canisius, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 9 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Trefl Sopot's next round opponent will be Start Gdynia at home which should be another easy win for them. Polpharma will play against Rosa Radom.
