It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 35-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a very good performance for guard Faycal Sahraoui (188-79) who helped to win the game recording 13 points. Loser JA Vichy still closes the standings with one game lost. La Rochelle will face Rueil (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. JA Vichy will play against Vendee Challans (#13) and be promoted back to the ProB just one year after relegation.
