Slask Wroclaw was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Stargard 80-75. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 27-20. But Slask Wroclaw won second period 24-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Spojnia made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Slask Wroclaw turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Tomasz Stepien (193-86) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 8 rebounds. Slask Wroclaw's coach Jerzy Chudeusz let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Spojnia's next round opponent will be Stal Ostrow in Ostrow Wlkp. which should be theoretically an easy game. Slask Wroclaw will play on the road against Astoria Bydg. in Bydgoszcz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
