Rather predictable result in Aichi where leader Toyota B SR (2-0) defeated bottom-ranked Hitachi Cougars (0-2) 73-65 on Sunday. Hitachi Cougars were trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 23-10 charge of Toyota B SR, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. Swingman Mao Okada (166-88) helped adding 22 points. The best for the losing side was Aiko Ishihara (178-92) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and international forward Mami Yamada (176-88) scored 14 points.
